Kirsten Jacobson
Kirsten Jacobson is a Staff Attorney at TALS. She focuses on leveraging technology to provide new legal service delivery models and increase access to legal care for low-income Tennesseans. She is the site administrator for TN Free Legal Answers. Kirsten joined TALS as an Equal Justice Works Fellow in September 2016. During her two year fellowship, Kirsten developed the Legal Wellness Checkup, a preventive and strengths-based approach to managing every day legal risks.
Kirsten received her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2016 and B.A. from Vanderbilt University in 2013. While in law school, Kirsten served as the student director of UT Pro Bono, and she was recognized as the Tennessee Bar Association's Law Student Volunteer of the Year at the 2017 Public Service Luncheon.
Kirsten is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the TBA's Access to Justice Committee. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville, a member of the Junior League of Nashville and volunteers with the Nashville Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae Association.
